There are many funding sources outside of the traditional path of borrowing money to help grow your business. There are Economic Development groups, both public and private, that can assist based on your location, stage of development, and other circumstances.

Some of the organizations that can link you to your local Economic Development organization in the United States are the National Alliance of Community Economic Development Associations, the U.S. Economic Development Administration, and the US Small Business Administration.
